Personal Details:

2001-2007: studied History and Public Law at the University of Freiburg
and the University of Durham (GB). 2008/2009: Postgraduate Masters in European Studies (M.E.S.)at the FU Berlin. 2009-2015: PhD in History (Dr. phil.) at the University of Mainz. Since 2015: Postdoctoral research fellow at the Research Training Group “The Christian Churches and the Challenge of ’Europe’”.

Current research projects:

Research Training Group: "The Christian Churches and the Challenge of 'Europe'"

The research training group examines reactions in the process of European unification, as well as the repercussions and activities that the process gave rise to in the area of the churches. The project also focuses on the efforts of the churches to insert religious concepts of values into the political processes.
