Zum 1. Oktober 2019 besetzt das Leibniz-Institut für Europäische Geschichte (IEG) in Mainz eine Stelle als

Grant Writing Manager Humanities (m/w/div)
(50% TV-L EG 13; befristet auf 12 Monate)
 
zur Mitarbeit an der Ausarbeitung eines englischsprachigen Antragstexts für das Projekt RESILIENCE (Religious Studies Infrastructures: Libraries, Experts, Nodes and Centres in Europe).
RESILIENCE ist ein EU-finanziertes Infrastrukturprojekt, das religionsbezogene Forschungsdaten der Öffentlichkeit und der Forschung weltweit digital zur Verfügung stellen will. In diesem paneuropäischen Projekt arbeiten zwölf Universitäten und Forschungseinrichtungen aus ganz Europa zusammen. Das IEG übernimmt in der vorbereitenden Phase besonders die Erstellung eines Governance- und Nachhaltigkeitskonzepts, trägt aber auch zu den Bereichen Management, Training und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit bei.
 
Aufgaben:

• Mitarbeit an der Ausarbeitung des Förderantrags für die nächste Projektphase (in englischer Sprache)
• Terminplanung
• Projektdokumentation
• Teilnahme an Online-Meetings sowie gelegentliche Dienstreisen
• Korrespondenz mit den Projektbeteiligten im Auftrag der Institutsleitung.

 
Anforderungen:

• abgeschlossenes geisteswissenschaftliches Studium (Master)
• Interesse an religionsbezogenen und historischen Fragestellungen
• sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
• Erfahrung im Projektmanagement bzw. in der Büroorganisation
• Grundkenntnisse der europäischen Forschungslandschaft
• Erfahrung in der Erstellung und kollaborativen Bearbeitung von Tabellen und Textdokumenten
• Teamfähigkeit und selbstständiges Arbeiten auch unter Termindruck
• Erfahrung bei der Mitwirkung an Drittmittelanträgen erwünscht.

to contribute to the preparation of a proposal for the RESILIENCE project (Religious Studies Infrastructures: Libraries, Experts, Nodes and Centres in Europe).
RESILIENCE is an EU-funded infrastructure project that aims to make religion-related research data digitally available to the public and to researchers worldwide. This pan-European project brings together twelve universities and research institutions from all over Europe. In the preparatory phase, the IEG is particularly responsible for drawing up a governance and sustainability concept, but also contributes to the areas of management, training and public relations.
 
Job description:

• collaboration in the preparation of the grant application for the next project phase (in English)
• scheduling
• project documentation
• participation in online meetings; occasional travels
• correspondence with the project partners on behalf of the institute's management.

 
Requirements:

• Master degree in the humanities
• interest in religious and historical issues
• very good knowledge of German and English
• experience in project management or office organization
• basic knowledge of the European research landscape
• experience in the creation and collaborative processing of tables and text documents
• ability to work in a team and independently even under deadline pressure
• experience in the participation in applications for third-party funding desired.
