In their series »Let's talk about Europe«, the Landeszentrale für politische Bildung Rheinland-Pfalz (LpB) and the Leibniz Institute of European History in Mainz (IEG) take a closer look at ecumenism in Europe on two evenings. Three ecumenism experts will discuss questions of dialogue between the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox churches in Europe. The series starts on March 18 with a thematically broad prelude: What differences exist from the perspective of theology and against the background of historical developments? Which rapprochements exist in Europe? What ecumenical positions are associated with the great representatives of these churches, including the former Bishop of Mainz, Karl Cardinal Lehmann? Rev.
