Prof. Dr. Penny Roberts from Warwick University, United Kingdom, is visiting the IEG as a Senior Research Fellow. In the research colloquium, to which the IEG cordially invites the public on 11 October, Penny Rogers will speak about her research on "Truth and Secrecy: Clandestine Confessional Activities during the French Religious Wars". The language of the event is English. © Penny Roberts "In my research, I want to explore the secret networks in 16th century France that maintained the links between the Huguenot movement and its supporters in exile. In particular, I am concerned with the messengers who took the greatest risks in doing so.
