Prof. Dr Ronald Rittgers is a guest in Mainz as a Senior Research Fellow of the IEG. He comes from Duke Divinity School in North Carolina, USA, where he holds the Chair in Lutheran Studies and is Professor of the History of Christianity. In the public research colloquium of the IEG he will present his book project "The Enchanted Word of Early Protestantism". The IEG cordially invites you to attend. In particular, I am concerned with the messengers who took the greatest risks in doing so.
