Tagung "Interreligious Appropriations: Modes and Practices of Coping with Religious Diversity in the Global History of Christianity"
Cooperation event within the Leibniz Research Network "Value of the Past", organized by Stanislau Paulau (associated researcher at IEG) and the Catholic University of Leuven. The conference aims to bring to a head this growing interest in the history of eastern Christian perspectives on religious diversity by taking an expansive approach to global Christianity. Uniting the diverse contributions to the conference will be the common goal of gaining a deeper understanding of how religious actors negotiated the past of the religious other and made it relevant to interreligious settings.
