This edition of the Bring Your Own Data Lab takes place as the second part of the HERMES-workshop series ‘Data Literacy with Linked Open Data (LOD)’, which enables you to acquire important data skills in dealing with Linked Open Data (LOD). The BYODL format will deepen the topics and address specific use cases. This will include working with Wikidata and specialised ontologies, vocabularies for research data, tool critique and critical perspectives on data handling. To participate in the BYODL workshop, you must either have attended the first part of the workshop series, the Data Carpentries workshop, or provide brief feedback on your previous knowledge so that we can ensure that you have the necessary knowledge for the advanced and practice-oriented work in the BYODL workshop.
