Prof. Francisco Bethencourt from King's College London will speak at the IEG Research Colloquium on 4 November, followed by a discussion. Francisco Bethencourt has been Charles Boxer Professor of History at King's College London since 2005 and is a leading historian of the Portuguese-speaking world; he also contributes to world and global history.
