The IEG cordially invites you to a public research colloquium in collaboration with the Department of Eastern European History at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) and the Southeast Europe Society. During this event, Dr. Konrad Clewing and Dr. Edvin Pezo (both from the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies Regensburg (IOS)) will present the third volume of the "Handbuch zur Geschichte Südosteuropas", titled "Staatlichkeit und Politik in Südosteuropa nach 1800." Following a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Johannes Paulmann (director of the IEG) and the presentation of the volume, the book will be commented on by Prof. Dr. Nada Boškovska (Universität Zurich) and Prof. Dr. Jan Kusber (JGU). The introduction and moderation will be conducted by Prof. Dr. Hans-Christian Maner (JGU). The event will commence at 6:00 PM on the specified day.
