Project »Europäische Religionsfrieden Digital« (EuReD) granted – Project leader: Irene Dingel, IEG Mainz

Since the first of January, 2020, the project »Europäische Religionsfrieden Digital« (EuReD) is part of the Academies Programme of the ›Union der Deutschen Akademien der Wissenschaften‹ (Union of the German Academies of Sciences and Humanities). The grant was awarded for a period of 21 years.

The project EuReD is a joint undertaking of the IEG, the ›Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur Mainz‹ (Academy of Sciences and Literature) and the ›Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek Darmstadt‹ (ULB). The project leaders are IEG director Irene Dingel and ULB director Thomas Stäcker.

EuReD is one of four new research projects being admitted to the Union’s Academies Programme in January 2020. Hence, the programme comprises 137 projects at 194 institutions in 2020.
