A ›serious game‹: »Engage!« website has launched

The game »engage!«, a joint undertaking by Monika Barget (IEG), Susan Schreibman (Maastricht University), Jack Kavanagh (NUI Maynooth), Kathleen Fitzpatrick and Sharon M. Leon (Michigan State University), now has its own website.

»Engage!« is a board game offering a playful approach to the possibilities and challenges of engaged research and public humanities – a serious game. After the game’s premiere at the MLA conference in Spring 2019 and with the help of Isabelle Reiß (JGU Mainz), the team has created a website for »engage!«. The website provides printable versions of the game board, cards and instructions free of charge, as well as background information (e.g. a glossary and a reading list) and a feedback feature on the game.
