Corine Defrance and Ulrich Pfeil return as Senior Research Fellows

It is a great pleasure to welcome back Corine Defrance and Ulrich Pfeil as Senior Research Fellows at the IEG in our anniversary year!

Ulrich Pfeil is a professor in German Studies at the Université de Lorraine and will work on his research project »Die historische Dimension von Versöhnung« during his stay at the IEG.

The IEG alumna Corine Defrance is a Historian at the Research Unit ›SIRICE‹ of Sorbonne University and the ›Centre national de recherches scientifiques‹ (CNRS). On September 21st, she will present her book »Städtepartnerschaften in Europa im 20. Jahrhundert« at the Institut français in Mainz, joined by her co-authors Tanja Hermann and Pia Nordblom.
