IEG staff member Gregor Feindt talks about Sport in penal and internment camps in an interview with the WDR "Sport inside Podcast". The basis for the podcast is the volume "Sport under Unexpected Circumstances", which was published in 2018 in the series "Veröffentlichungen des Instituts für Europäische Geschichte Mainz, Beihefte" and whose contributions look at sport in penal and internment camps as an important insight into the history of the camps. The volume is available in open access.
