Noëmi Duhaut: Fellow at the Herbert D. Katz Center at the University of Pennsylvania
IEG staff member Noëmi Duhaut is a fellow of the Herbert D. Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studiesat the University of Pennsylvania. Together with 21 other scholars from various countries and disciplines, she will spend the entire academic year 2022/23 researching the topic "Jews and Modern Legal Culture".

Founded in 1993, the Herbert D. Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies at the University of Pennsylvania is a postdoctoral research centre dedicated to the study of Jewish history and civilisation. The Katz Center's main activity is an international fellowship programme that brings scholars from around the world to Philadelphia for a semester or a year. Researchers are given the opportunity to conduct research on a common theme in a supportive and collaborative environment.
