"Orthodox Easter: Why does Ukraine have two [Orthodox] Christian churches?" - IEG employee Stanislau Paulau gave an interview to Deutschlandfunk (DLF) on Orthodoxy with regard to the war in Ukraine. Among other things, he explained theological and political background of the current position of the Russian Orthodox Church on the war in Ukraine. In particular, he addressed the role of Moscow Patriarch Cyril I and his efforts to theologically legitimize the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
