Prof. Dr. Till van Rahden is new Senior Reserch Fellow at IEG

Since October 2025, Prof. Dr. Till van Rahden has been a Senior Research Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for European History (IEG).
His research interests include 19th- and 20th-century German and European history, gender issues, the theory and history of modern democracies, and the history of Jews in contemporary Europe.
On November 25, he will give a lecture entitled “Rag-Picking: Siegfried Kracauer and the Redemption of Historical Reality” as part of the public research colloquium.
