Welcome Paolo Broggio!

Today, Paolo Broggio from Roma Tre University (Rome, Italy) arrived. He is beginning his research stay as a Senior Research Fellow at the Leibniz Institute of European History (IEG) in Mainz.
Until December 19, 2025, he will be conducting research on “The Quest for a ‘Pure’ Social Body: The Diffusion of Italian Legal and Theological Culture in the Atlantic World, 16th–17th centuries.”

On December 2, 2025, Broggio will present his project at the IEG's public research colloquium.
