IEG-Blog “Writing European History”

The “Writing European History / Europäische Geschichte schreiben” blog presents the historical research conducted at the Leibniz Institute of European History (IEG) in Mainz. In various sections, researchers and guests of the IEG reflect on their research topics and findings. The aim is to highlight the IEG’s diverse contributions to research questions of European History.

The blog’s content is selected in collaboration between the editorial team and the Institute’s working groups. The contributions to the blog are written by the Institute’s researchers and guests and are reviewed before publication in an internal process.

Through this blog, the IEG wishes to engage with both a specialist audience with a background in history and with the general public with an interest in historical topics.
