The Leibniz Institute of European History (IEG) and the Landeszentrale für politische Bildung (LpB) of Rhineland-Palatinate are jointly hosting a new discussion evening as part of the successful event series ‘Let’s talk about Europe!’. In this series, the IEG and the LpB Rhineland-Palatinate examine current issues and crises in Europe and discuss them with a focus on their historical dimensions.
In this edition, together with Sophia Britanow, winner of the Federal President’s nationwide history competition, we will take a look at the topics of ‘Migration in Europe’ and ‘Migration in history education’. She will be joined on the podium by Dr. Mareike König from the Deutsches Historisches Institut in Paris. The discussion will be moderated by our director, Prof. Dr. Nicole Reinhardt.
