From May 1 to 31, Johannes Paulmann is a Karl-Ferdinand-Werner Fellow at the German Historical Institute in Paris.
There, he is conducting research in libraries and museums for the subproject “Becoming Human, Being Human” of the SFB 1482 Human Differentiation. During his visit, he is focusing particularly on the global dimensions of paleoanthropological research from the 19th to the 21st century.
